At the Zoo with Oma and Opa McDonald

Thursday was supposed to be a Toddler Trip to the Zoo.

 

Parent coordinators had planned a trip to the zoo for Iris's "class" -

but it was canceled at the last minute.

 

Jill and Lyle hadn't been to the zoo for 15 years, so we decided to go anyway.

 

We realized, once there, why the school most likely canceled their trip.

It was "Camp Day" at the zoo and there were about A GAZILLION kiddos of all ages running around.

It was much easier to wrangle one toddler than it would have been to keep an eye on a whole group.

 

We love the zoo!
