Remembering my Grammy

I know I'm incredibly lucky.
Not everyone gets to know their grandparents as well as I've gotten to know mine. . .
some don't ever get to know theirs.

I'm thankful for all the good memories, thankful for all the good times.
I know how special it is that I got to hear stories about the old times first hand, how my grandparents met, how things were done way back when.
I'm thankful I got to know who raised my mother.
I'm thankful I got to learn where my mom gets her stubbornness, her confidence, her strength.
I'm thankful for all the years I had to enjoy time with my Grammy.

Mari - So sorry to hear about your Grandma. I lost my Grandma last July and I know it is so hard. Hang in there. Thinking of you.

We're so glad that your family had such a close relationship with your grammy. She was a very special lady and it was a privilege knowing her for the short time that we did. It was apparent at family gatherings that she was loved by all. Our love and thoughts are with you.
