'Twas the Night Before Christmas. . .

'Twas the night before Christmas and we're expecting a crew!

The McDonalds are coming over to play games and eat stew!

The stockings were hung by the stove with great care. . .

There was homemade beer bread and we had snacks everywhere!

We ate and we ate 'til our bellies were full. . .

Then we opened our presents wrapped in paper and bows!

There was something for everyone - we all made a haul. . .

But enjoying time with each other was most important of all!

We were up 'til all hours playing Mexican Train,

as outside we were being lulled by the sound of the rain. . .

The time came in the evening when we said our goodbye's,

spending time with loved ones make the hours really fly!

We headed off to our beds, we need some sleep for heavens sake!

We look forward to more family time together and the memories we will make.
