We got ourselves up the morning of the 4th and headed out to Hillsboro to watch the parade with Oma and Opa McDonald.
It was a beautiful, even hot, morning and Iris watched the whole thing with wide-eyed wonder!
Getting to experience "candy" was also a bonus!

Daddy was working away on the front yard.
Little miss wasn't able to stay awake long enough to catch any fireworks,
but that was okay with mommy and daddy.
There will be many more wonderful Independence Day Holidays for our little family.
