Friday
Happy Valentine's Day!
Iris worked hard on her Valentines!
So hard, she needed a bath!
Mommy was given some beautiful flowers!
Daddy got a yummy cookbook
and Iris got a pretty new (mommy made) sweater!
We went on a family date night dinner to Mama Leo's, a new neighborhood restaurant.
Iris loved the coconut brown rice and the avocado sauce!
Saturday
Mommy and Iris had a slow morning, while daddy went off to work.
Us girls braved the rain to go visit Auntie Bethany and Uncle Josh who were in town and staying at the Hilton! Grandpa Bryan came by to say HI also!
We had fun playing in the big hotel lobby!
The plan was to also play in the hotel pool - but it was too cold for Iris's liking...
...and she lasted all of five minutes in the water.
The warm bathtub was more to her liking!
Of course, Auntie and Uncle couldn't come to Portland without bringing gifts for little miss!
She loves her new outfit and new toy!
She also loved playing on the BIG bed and hiding in the pillows!
Grandma Lisa also stopped by the hotel to say Hi!
She volunteered to babysit for the evening so us big kids
could go see our friend Rachel perform with her band, Tripwire.
Double Date!
Sunday
We went to morning meeting with Auntie and Uncle,
then mommy and Iris went home for a nap (well, Iris napped anyway).
Sunday afternoon we went into Hillsboro for gospel meeting and to visit some of the McDonald cousins who were in town.
Iris had so much fun playing with the kids, she wore herself out!
Monday
Another lazy rainy day.
Mommy had the day off (daddy had to work) - so lots of playing (and eating broccoli) - no nap.
We practiced walking like a big girl - she's getting so close to taking off on her own!
