Lady Iris' First Christmas

I have to admit, the holidays were a little tough this year.

Different - Difficult.

I toed that fine line of wanting to be as productive as I usually am around the holidays - 

but then wanting to enjoy every moment possible with my darling baby girl.

I found it impossibly frustrating not to be able to do both,

 and I had to let go of a lot of the "usual things" I do.

Not as many handmade gifts, not as many baked goods...

There will be other years for those things - 

this year is for seeing the world through my daughter's eyes.
