Today was Iris' two month check-up!
TWO Months old, already?!?!
The Stats recap: LONG - LEAN - and a BIG OL' HEAD (like her daddy!)
length: 24 inches (97.72 percentile)
weight: 11 lbs. 6.2 oz. (51.72 percentile)
head circumference: 15.75 inches (90.77 percentile)
Plus she had to get the next round of shots... which is never fun for anyone!
She knew what was coming in this picture! :(
♥♥♥
She's wearing 3 month clothing now -
more for the extra length and feet room, not so much the girth.
NOT taking a bottle yet, at least not consistently.
Medela bottle = FAIL
Playtex Nurser bottle = FAIL
Dr. Brown's bottle - TBD
Aventa bottle - TBD
Still eating like a champ though.
Sleeping up to 4-7 hours straight at night!
However, we need to do something about that 11:30 p.m. bedtime.
She wakes up happy usually and is generally a very happy baby!
Babbling a lot more, and we think we've heard a few laughs, but nothing consistent yet.
Reaches for things and grasps them (kind of).
Holds her head up for long periods of time.
Likes to be held facing out - so she can see the world.
This is sooo tough, and we cherish the few cuddly moments.
Doing MUCH better during bath time,
which happens once a week whether we need it or not. ;)

1. Love love love love all these gorgeous photos!
2. That place with the giant mushroom growing out of the building? Awesome!
3. Ember hated bottles. My first day back to work was a rough one for Rory. We ended up using the Playtex bottles with the nipple that looks like a pacifier (the normal ones made her gag,) and that's what she finally settled for. They are hard to find now, but I think after I had Jasper, I ordered some off amazon. Just a thought.
She is changing so much...cuter and cuter
Love all the pix
She is an absolute doll!!!
