Resolved.

res ● o ● lu ● tion
noun

1. a formal expression of opinion or intention made, usually after voting, by a formal organization, a legislature, a club, or other group. Compare concurrent resolution, joint resolution.
2. a resolve or determination: to make a firm resolution to do something.
3. the act of resolving or determining upon an action or course of action, method, procedure, etc.
4. the mental state or quality of being resolved or resolute; firmness of purpose.

In thinking about my "resolutions" for the year ahead. . . I'm not going to lie, I've become very overwhelmed with it all. So, instead of my usual, lengthy list of resolutions for the ENTIRE year - I've come to realize that it will be my daily resolve that is going to get me through.

Not wants, or even needs, just simple tasks to be resolved in doing each day.

I resolve to pray.
I resolve to read.
I resolve to be healthy.
I resolve to be patient.
I resolve to be kind.

Yes, this list too could go on and on, but maybe I'll just tackle a few different purposes each day.
:: Be earnest friends ::
Wishing you all the best for the year ahead!

Mari,

I love your heart! I want to purpose the very same things into my life. I lack so much but I want them to increase. We know that the important things in our life that we want, needs the special help from our heavenly Father so beginning with prayer is a wonderful start. have a wonderful 2012! Love, JoAnn
