Brian and I had a much needed night out on the town together last night.
Our first stop was happy hour for dinner here - nothing beats delicious food and drinks at HALF price!
We had a table for 2 by the window and watched Portlanders of all shapes and sizes practicing for the dragon boat races. . .
and then it was off to an amazing show in a tent down by the river!
I had never been to a Cirque de Soleil show, and WHOA was it amazing! Regular priced tickets were pretty spendy, but we found a deal online for tickets 40% off!Here are some pictures from some of our favorite acts:

Not only did the two circles spin independantly, but the whole device rotated like a clock.
I think I held my breath the entire time during this act!
They performed the whole act WITHOUT harnesses!

oh, I have been kicking myself for not seeing Cirque when they were in Boise...next time, I say...they are one of my "have to sees"
