Angel's Rest

Saturday, Mom, Bethany and I headed out to the Gorge to hike the beautiful Angel's Rest Trail. That's my mom, wanting to go for a hike for Mother's Day.
We dutifully obliged.
The scenery in Oregon never disappoints!

The trail was pretty steep in some areas, it climbs 1880 feet in 2.3 miles.

But we made it to the top!
And it was worth it!
Looking out over the Columbia River.
That's Washington state across the river.

We thought about the angels in our lives. . .

Looks like a very enjoyable day! You had some great sunshine to hike in. I recently did that same hike in the rain (www.trail-hiking.com/AngelsRest.html). Not so much fun but still enjoyable.
