To Pass the Time. . .

Brian has been at the coast working all week. . . so I've tried to keep myself busy with cleaning, scrapbooking, catching up on laundry and walking the dog. . .

Wickey is learning to love scrapbooking as well!

Tonight I decided to be domestic and do a little baking.  Bethany came over and helped me clean up the house for company tomorrow night, we hung out and the price for her help was some yummy pizza, I didn't fight that demand too hard. . . .

I baked a strawberry rhubarb pie, my first one!  

Generally I don't like to desecrate the deliciousness of the rhubarb, but I had both the strawberries and the rhubarb just sitting in my fridge and I needed to do something with them!  I found the recipe on the internet and it actually smells pretty darn good, it's baking now!

I also baked a couple more loaves of zucchini bread since the first batch turned out so well!

Now look what I've done, I'd better get the kitchen cleaned up again!

Brian gets back home tomorrow and just in time too, I'm exhausted!
