A working bathroom on the main floor is an amazing thing!

We decided that we're going to do a major overhaul on the main bathroom down the road in a couple of years, so for now we're just fixing up what there is. . . 

We painted the walls the same color as the kitchen. . . did a slap-and-stick linoleum floor (which didn't turn out half bad). . . 

We put in a new light fixture and a new toilet and, WA-LAH!  A functional bathroom!  We still have to re-hook-up the bathtub plumbing and get a big mirror for over the sink, but no more creeping down into the scary basement when you have to use the restroom in the middle of the night!

Don't worry, when you come to visit all the tools will be put away!
