Adding Our Own Little Touches

Brian and I decided that we really wanted the mantle and built-ins beside the mantle to "pop." Here Brian is applying an antique glaze over the finished woodwork. He paints on the glaze and then rubs it in to the wood to get the desired effect.

It's going to look so great when it's all finished, (when we get the slate up above and rebuild the fireplace) this wall will be the definite focal point of the living room!!
