Three Years
Loving her Spanish books from Uncle and Tia.
County to twelve in Spanish. "Adios" "Buenos Noches"
Tantrums
Not liking "class."
"After this nap (sleep), what day is it?"
Not being able to wrap her head around combining her school friends and her meeting friends together.
Chai tea, "with cream, like you momma."
Knee-jerk reaction of, NO. Then will think about things and- "I changed my mind."
Alternate personalities: Lizzie and Queenie (from the Bearnstein Bears) and Marie (from the Nutcracker).
"I have a heddick" (headache)
One night, all the sudden, she was in our room, stuffie and blankey in tow. First time she came to us instead of us waking up an heading to her room! I was so shocked, I pulled her into bed and we all promptly fell back asleep.
First time playing "meeting." Praying over the bread (banana bread) and wine (empty tea cup). Asking mommy to "pray like meeting."

Halloween : A&R Gibler's
It was a rainy, blustery fall night - we didn't do much trick-or-treating - but lots of sugar was consumed and lots of fun was had at the Gibler's!
She wouldn't wear her gingerbread hat, or vest with decorative "icing" -
but we did get a token family photo:
In typical toddlerhoppeduponsugar fashion- she was acting a fool - we
told her she couldn't have any candy unless she smiled for a picture:
Run, run, as fast as you can - you can't catch me - I'm the gingerbread man GIRL!
Grumpy old man.

2 Years : 11 Months
Naming all her babies/friends/stuffies...then renaming them.
Not wanting to go to school. Wanting a daddy/mommy day instead.
"Mom, don't you remember what I told you? You remember what I said?"
Pull ups vs. Diapers
Enjoys watching football. "I have a good idea! Let's cuddle on the couch and watch football!" "Mom, is that team the Packers or the Seahawks?"
So much fun at Wildlife Safari!
"That would be terrific!"
This one does not like to be the center of attention, except when she does. Still gets embarrassed easily. Thinks people are laughing AT her.
"Are you serious."
"I want dad, but I don't want dad to lay with me." Yes. This mommy still lays in the toddler bed with her until she falls asleep.

Wildlife Safari Adventure : Winston, OR
When you have Columbus Day off, and Grandpa Bryan has Groupon tickets - then you plan a trip to Winston, Oregon, to WILDLIFE SAFARI!
All loaded up and ready to hit the road!

A "normal" three hour road tip = a 5 hour road trip with a toddler and an infant.
Our campground may have not let us have a campfire (BOO) - but the resident deer family (kinda) made up for it and we managed to have a fun time together anyway!
And we ended it all with a homemade chocolate shake!
Perfect.
Winston, Oregon - I don't think we'll be rushing back any time soon, but it was fun to go and cross that off our Oregon experiences list.
